MINERAL COUNTY, WV - Police have new details after an apparent murder-suicide in Mineral County this weekend.
They say a domestic dispute broke out between Tammy and Kenneth Deetz on Saturday evening.
Investigators believe Tammy Deetz attempted to call 911, but the call was disconnected by her husband.
She ran from the house and into a wooded area, where police believe Kenneth Deetz shot her in the head.
They think he then returned to the front of the couple's Cumberland Street home and turned the gun on himself.
Authorities say two children were found alive inside the home.
