Watch media, psychs and FRs claim that it was because he didn't have 50/50 or full-time custody. I doubt there were no signs, just no one talking.
Davis was identified by the Ada County coroner Friday as the man who shot his 3-year-old daughter, Natasha Echon-Davis, before turning the gun on himself.
Andrew “Andy” Davis’ family members count themselves among those Treasure Valley residents shocked and devastated by the 38-year-old’s actions.
The tragedy unfolded Thursday afternoon inside a car in the parking lot of the Majestic Cinemas in Meridian. There was nothing in Davis’ behavior earlier in the day — or in recent weeks — that hinted at what was to come, his teary-eyed mother and other family members said Friday.
Court documents show that Davis shared custody of Natasha with Echon-Reyes, who lives in Meridian. The two were never married, and the mother had primary custody of the child, according to court documents and Davis’ family.
Davis sued for joint custody of the child, which was granted in April 2009, according to the records. But a 50/50 split was not to occur until 2013. Until then, Davis had custody certain days of the week.
