VALPARAISO | A Morgan Township man pleaded guilty Tuesday to a
reduced charge of reckless homicide in the shooting of his son
during an argument in August 2009.
James Blum, who had been charged with murder, occasionally cried
during the change of plea hearing before Porter Circuit Court Judge
Mary Harper.
James Blum also bought the gun a day before the shooting,
Polarek said.
