A Michigan man accused of persuading mothers in three states, including Idaho, to sexually assault their children has been sentenced to life in prison. 41 year old Steven Demink, met the women on websites devoted to single parents.. Demink was accused of forging relationships with women on the Internet and manipulating them into sexually assaulting young children. Using the pseudonym Dalton St. Clair, he portrayed himself as a father of a 14-year-old daughter.  Relying on St. Clair’s alleged psychological training, prosecutors said Demink convinced seven mothers to commit sex acts on their children as part of a “re-training” of the children, who ranged in age from three years old to 15 years old. Prosecutors say he convinced the women to assault their children and photograph or stream the assaults over the Internet.. He pleaded guilty to counts related to mothers from Virginia, Idaho and Florida. He was sentenced in a Detroit courtroom yesterday. Authorities have so far rescued seven children who were under the care of four mothers.
